Well its Friday here so this is what little I have found but I think it will help you.
The engine is Chrsler industrial model very popular engine made in the late 40s til the 70s or so. I think that you could get the engine model number and go to Napa and they just may be able to get all the parts for this engine. This is from my book on tractors.
