I heard a niece of mine make a comment one time about her inclination to talk and talk and talk and, well, you get it. "I can't quit talking 'cause they won't quit listening". Cut 'em off. Let them know you're busy and don't have time to hang out and be best buds. You don't have to be rude. But just tell them. If that kills the sale, so be it. Some people just don't have a lot to do. They have time on their hands. It isn't your duty to stand there and entertain them. I gotta go, I'm busy, talk to you later.
