A Corn-Bean Special will have risers on the walkers, steel finger guides instead of plastic on the feeder beater, some other improvements as well. Cylinder bars are the same as regular version- never seen any spike cylinders in this area. It certainly works fine for wheat- just get the op manual to get the settings that are recommended to start with. Probably also want the short tooth, round end chaffer instead of the long square tooth which is common for corn and soy. Either can work, but the short round is common for small grains like oats, wheat, barley. Cyl speed likely 7-1100 rpm, 3-4 concave bars, cyl about 3/8 inch open, low to mid range on the air setting, chaffer 1/2 inch, lower sieve 1/4-3/8 inch-(memory talking, not the book).
