The W-9, W-600, and the W650 were all very tough and dependable tractors in their day, but the engines in those tractors did not share very many parts with anything else that IH built at the same time. The W-6, W-400, and W-450 shared quite a few parts with the Farmall M, 400, and 450, and because there were so many of those tractors built, virtually any part you might need is readily available from a multitude of sources.
The 9, 600, and 650 however used engines that were pretty much exclusive to just those tractors, therefore engine parts can be a bit difficult to locate, and if you do find them, will be a bit pricey. I would not recommend one of these tractors to a first time buyer and collector.
