They'll drink from an open bucket right from the get go. Gotta use your fingers in their mouths and stick their heads down in the bucket of milk replacer the first feeding or two. They learn to direct drink real fast.
I'm with the other guys. Get 'em on feed quick. It'll save you that expensive milk replacer.
