I don't know how tall your silo is but I used a JD 620 for filling a pair of 50 foot silos with haylage for many years, the Ford 5000 drew loads (better brakes and faster road gear) and JD 4020 chopped. My brotther really hustled with the wagons and kept up with me chopping pretty good except on the farthest fields. I think you'll find the M does fine.
