My SIL had to have horses. My brother put up a fence for them. He had to put the wood boards on the wrong side of the fence because that was the way they had the fence when she was a kid and he had to buy barbed wire, instead of the smooth wire, because that is what they had when she was a kid. Eventually she heard enough people ask "why" that she figured out that just maybe she should trust her husband a little bit more. SDE
