cargill was on line to build an ethanol plant here, right by the elevator, rail and barge both at the facility. They had the corn production to run it, the transport covered, even offered up the FREE!! grain bins to farmers for the good ole set price on corn, then came out and said, WE WONT MAKE ANY MONEY WITH ETHANOL. Now the boys who have the bins are locked in for I (think) 4 years with cargill. The ethanol fad will disapear just like solar power did, yeah there will be a boom then we will all be going remember when?
