2 guys in a pickup stopped one day and asked me if i wanted the rusty tractor in the bed of the truck! I asked if the engine was bad, and they said no, it needs some TLC! Free for the taking! So, i checked it out next day. Yep, it needed a lot of work, including a carburetor. Had some rust, deck mandrells were noisy and rusted. I noticed that the tractor looked like a Craftsman machine, under the outer skin! So, after much work, i finally got it running, and now i use it to mow my lawn. Here's something. The carb was so bad, i couldn't use it. So, i adapted a carb from an older Tecumseh engine, and made it work. The engine on it is a Tecumseh.! Some made up linkage, from coat hanger wire, and it runs great!
