Thanks to all who gave me suggestions on my '03 Dodge idling problem. Tonight, I got the filter changed, primed and started the truck, seemed to have taken care of the rough idling problem. I'm going to drive it to work tomorrow and see how it does. The manual states it should be changed every 15,000mi, but I did the quick math and only got 8,000mi on the filter. I buy 98% of my diesel at the local Flying-J truckstop and use Power Service fuel additive in everytank. Could this new ULSD or the Power Service be having an effect of my filter, maybe loosening up some gunk in the tank or lines? The truck has 104,000mi now and should I continue to change the filter at 8,000mi?
