We bale with a 1950 Massey Harris 44 6 cyc. It has one hyd on it The baler is a Vermere 504 if I remember right. The tractor had a valve job on it in 1970. The only thing ever done to the tractor was regular service and 2 sets of tires. The baler is a manuel tie. We only bale on fairely level land so it works fine for us. We only need about 40 bales a year so it can be done. Its not the fastest bailer in the country but it works fine for us.Bought the tractor new and paid 400.00 for the baler used. Baled three years with it and no problems or regrets. Sam
