Poor military tactics. One well placed bomb and/or an angry wife can wipe out the entire platoon.
And now one single photograph can tip off the arrival of another tractor. As long as there's no one picture of all of them, you can always play along like a new one was there all the time, just not where it could be seen.
Keep 'em scattered and never let it be known exactly how many you have.
