Very close but not the same engine. VT328 is a VA series 124 cid engine, casting nr below the dipstick 328 or 328A, late VA engine serial nr above starter will be 2 digits + letter + 5 digits (EX 72G12345).
200 series has a 126 cid engine that shares some parts with the VA 124 cid, with the 300 series (and others) 148 cid engine and some parts that are 200 series 126 cid only.
I don't have a parts manual for the 200 series but have the VA & 300 series manuals. If you are looking for a specific part and have the casting or p/n I can probably look up if it is the same as on the the 124 cid and/or the 148 cid I.E. VA series 124 cid rod casting nr is listed as vt4538.
