I bought some Duo-grip chains for my tractor that fell in the lugs also. Yes, they are the proper chains. I had a couple bungee cords on to hold them a little tighter but someone on here suggested I take them off. I did and it helped. I also discovered that just by fluke where the cross chains line up when you put them on makes a difference. I noticed the cross chains going in the lugs the most when I was in deep snow and the tires started to spin. I think this is what pulled them in. If the chains are a little looser they usually fall out when the wheel goes around. Duo-grip chains have 2 cross chains close together with 2 short chains connecting them so they aren't supposed to go in the lugs. They still can. I think it's worse on smaller tire sizes. If you just have straight across single cross chains, they wouldn't work very well for an ag tire but would work for an industrial tire like on a grader. Hope this helps. Dave
