As dangerous as dying at the wrong times can be, and since your dealer apparently guessed wrong or struck out once, you might want to: (A) Dig around on the internet (or at your dealers!) for the TSB"s on yours, to see if any mention irregular dying (watch the language:TSB"s can get creative at times-things like "irregular engine stoppage" or "engine light malfunction"); (2) ask if your dealers shop, or any of his mech (oop), techs have a membership in IATN (Int"l Automotive Technicians Network): it"s a cooperative computer net of techs, to post problems that don"t seem to be cured by the factory instructions and that local techs can"t find. If not, he should at least subscribe to Alldata (which has the reputation of not having all the data!). If they"ve processed a code, and it didn"t help, the problem may be upstream of the code (something malfunctioning not because it"s bad but because it"s getting a bad signal or reading from something else-these can be tricky. good luck.
