I got a job in Iowa in 1980 and moved before I got my house sold in Albert Lea. I rented it to a couple with 3 young kids. Thanksgiving weekend I got a call that he had killed his wife. "The devil made him do it". We had just bought a house and the wife was pregnant with our second one. Makes it difficult to sell a house with a recent murder history. Spent the last of our savings, just before we got it sold, losing on it, but able to get out from under the second house payment. Somebody killed the guy in prison several years later. Don"t have to think about meeting him in the future.
My BIL drowned his pregnant wife and toddler up in West Central Minnesota. They found him guilty of second degree murder. He had way too much life insurance on a young mother on the WIC program which got food for her and the boy. The jury decided that he had made plans to kill her before, but not that day, so it was second degree instead of first. He got out of prison in June this year and hopefully we will never see him again. He got out in 22 1/2 years for good behavior.

A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
