Hi there, Yes it sounds like it"s a FE35, often called the grey and gold (actually the gold is more of a copper colour) and it should look like this one if it is restored. The engine has a timing chain and it"s quite a difficult procedure to get the timing set up. FE35"s were manufactured between 1957 and 1959, after that they were re-badged the MF35 and took on the red and grey colour scheme even though the MF35 is exactly the same mechanically as the FE35. "FE" means Ferguson England and the 4 cylinder diesel engine (23C)was manufactured by the Standard Motor Company.
