On your fan noise, check to see if the axle pivot pin and bushing are worn. That will cause that problem. When you replace the axle seals, were the hubs worn where the seal rides? Are you sure that you put the seals in correctly and, replaced all parts needed? Is oil leaking out between the axle and the hubs? If so, tighten the nut to draw the hub on tighter. If the hub and splines are worn too bad, you will have to replace them. When you put in new seals, did you replace the cork seal behind the hub? If not, this will let it leak.
