i would say the M and H were great selling tractor,s 966-1066 and you would have to find some one hard presed even a john deere man to say any thing bad about them.drive across america sometime and see how many old farmall,s are still in use.get close to the city and you find nothing but n-serie,s fords,i dont like deere and company but one must say they have built some great tractor,s.

Product Review: Lead Substitutes - by Mike Schordine. Lead was oriinally added to gasoline as an upper cylinder lubricant. It lubes the valves and seats. If you rebuild the motor, you could use hardened seats and valves, and unleaded fuel. But if your old tractor runs good, a simple lead substitute added to the gas is a perfectly reasonable solution.
