You have a good idea. My buddy did the same thing. I thought he got his out of an international school bus. He gave $1800 for the bus. He then sold the rear and some frame parts to a guy that wanted to make a heavy duty farm trailer. He parted out a few other things and hauled the rest to the scrap yard. All said I think he has less than a grand in the motor. The bus had 120k or 160k miles on it.
