Those critters grow on you quick. I never had much time for dogs, but I took in two last Spring that were going to be killed in a few minutes by the owner because he didn't want them. I swear those dogs know how close to death they were and that I saved them from it. I have NEVER seen such loyalty from anyone or anything. Better dogs than I could have ever hoped for if I was trying to hand pick from the best of the best litters. I don't even know what kind mine are, I'm guessing Lab crossed with mutt or something.
