that was happening with my oliver super 55.you just tie the draw bar to another tractor's draw bar on the bigger tractor put the tranny in 1st gear and put the 240's tranny in the highest gear its got. the bigger tractor can cruise in 1st then when the 240's being pulled you can s l o w l y let out the clutch . you will hear the clutch start to slip keep doing that until its fixed. what that does it breaks the glaze like when honing a cylinder wall . it should work.
