I still have my '71 "Zephyr" long track. I used it a couple of years ago to skid firewood when I got a little low toward spring. My wife's Ski-Doo Olympique 300 sits in the barn as well and is in pretty nice shape yet altho I haven't started it in 4 or more years. Paid $610 for it brand new and got a yellow "Ski-Doo helmet with it. I was in my 40s when I bought those sleds. By today's standards snowmobiles were pretty crude back then. It was a real workout to ride one of them 30 or 40 miles and in the mountainous terrain of my part of N Y state you rarely had an opportunity to sit down on the seat. I had a lot of fun back then but I don't think I could do it all over again today with the sleds of that era. LOL

Today's Featured Article - Oliver 550 Purchaser Checklist - by Greg Sheppard. Pound for pound the 550 is better than anything I've seen. It has great power for its size and can really hunker down and lug. Classified as a 3-bottom plow depending on soil conditions.
