Hi Guys. Thanks for all the help with the head bolts on my Farmall H. Now, how to time the engine, I took number one plug out and turned the engine over until I felt the compression, I then turned the engine to the first notch on the pulley, at which time the cylinder was top dead center, both valves on cylinder one were closed, exhaust valve on two was open(this was the last cylinder that had fired)exhaust on three almost closed and intake on four just closing, the mag was pointing at number one, I then turned the engine to the second notch at which time the mag tripped, do I have it timed right ?????.
