Yeah, as far as selling parts go, I can see that. But often someone is looking for a part that is not sold here. This just happened a few minutes ago when I tried to tell a guy where he could find the Deere part he needed that is not offered for sale here. My post got deleted five times and I finally gave up.
The deleting of posts is one thing - but doing it with no warning - and not giving any chance to save text - is just plain rude. And yeah, I realize it's a computer doing it - but computers don't think on their own. They respond to human programming. The way I see it, a computer should not be programmed to be any ruder then a person wants to be face-to-face.
There are other types of forum software that will warn you about a word it has trouble with - before deleting all text.
