Got to thinkin' 'bout what you had said and those pictures that Cliff had put up of his shop-manufactured outfit. Thought to myself, "Yeah, why the heck not?" :>)
Fought those heavy weights all afternoon.
Finally, gave up, mounted all the weights on the factory bracket and bolted 'em to it by using the cinch bar just as if it were on the front of the tractor.
Then I ran that aftermarket "hitch bar" thru the handles just like you said and hooked her to the lower arms. Works pretty slick with that bracket underneith.
I can stand it on a chunk of old railroad tie to park/hook/unhook it.
Got about 1200 lbs and with the existing wheel weights, I think I'm pretty darned close to 1500 lbs all together.
