Too bad we don't have a law in MD like that. Now MD has an agreement with DE not to deliver any large purchases into MD unless they collect the MD sales tax on the items coming into MD. The salesman at Sears and Lowes in DE said to get around that is to pick up the items at their stores. The Duponts in DE must add a lot to DE's economy is the reason there's no sales tax. MD increased their sales tax to 6% starting today and according to the paper most stores don't have their equipment set up to automatically charge for the increase. Most of these states are wasting their taxes they collect. They need to survive on what they get like each homeowner does. The Federal government does the same thing. Hal
