The TTR's are just a simple basic bike. They aern't real high performance but should be pretty reliable. Price out a new one. The price seems in the ball park. If you buy it make sure to break it in before going full throttle for any length of time. You also need a good helmet, boots and goggles as the bare minumum. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery.
