The Farm Coop in St.Marys is one of the places I already contacted. They have excellent deals as compared to other areas. Today it's $1.97 for propane, $2.82 for off-road diesel nad $3.29 for pump diesel.

A propane generator makes 10,500 watts at $5.11 per hour.
With off-road diesel it makes 11,200 watts at $3.10 per hour. Substantially less money and more power being made.
In regard to their $1.97 per gallon propane price - that's does not abrogate anything I said or posted. You DO understand what the word "average" means? Someone in one part of Kansas may be paying $1.75 and someone else $3.25 for the same product. Nothing unusual about that.
I live in a rural farming area 200 miles from New York City. Even though NYC has a water-port with better access to fuels, their prices are always much higher than ours. Why, I don't know - seems it ought to be the other way around. Maybe people there have more money, so they get charged more.
