McCormick Equipment in Portland Mi sold the crap out of those things for a few years. Said when they came back for the 100 hour service everything was loose. After that,I guess everything was OK. Problem is,they quit selling them. Only dealer I know of in Michigan anymore is in Omer, and I don't even know where that is. There are a LOT of them out in service around here, but resale value is about zero. They sold one to the neighbor,85hp,front wheel assist. They had an auction 2 years later, the 2 year old tractor sold for $6000. They didn't have air conditioning. A guy that I was selling calves to at the time bought a new one for $25,000 because it was the cheapest thing he could find. I told him at the time he'd be money ahead to buy a 20 year old Deere or White, but he didn't listen. They still have it,probably because they couldn't give it away. I suppose,if you can get one dirt cheap just for loader work,go ahead and buy it. Run it til it drops.
