HEY OLD I agree with the other post slow charge first 12/24 HRS. 2 amps.Then normal charge if shows any sign of life. I think it is probably junk, Checking state of charge/capacity reguires load testing a fully charged battery at 1/2 the rated amps. for 15 seconds and it has to hold a minimum voltage of 9.6V at 80 degrees F. at the end of test. Then you 'll know for sure the battery is serviceable. Guido.
