I still live on the red clay hill that i was born on, in south Mississippi about 20 miles north of Laurel and 85 miles south of Jackson. I have a 1953 model 60 John Deere, which is a working tractor. I was raised on the two cylinders farming cotton and corn and in later years dad got into dairy farming. My wife now raises pure bred Arabian horses and i do my farming in a greenhouse. I have a factory job to support everything. The wife is to graduate nursing school in August and says shes gonna take over the work and bill paying so i can come home to work her horses and the nursery.
