I think it is better said to old tractor buffs. try not to use car oil 10 w 30 in your tractor. Esp if you work the tractor. I use 15W40 any brand thats around when I get the itch.
Old tractors specified 30 wt oil. but I dont think 10w30 is the same thing. When your pumping up the plow and she gets good and hot. I dont think that 10w30 is doing what a strait 30 wt would do. 15w40 seems to perform much better when hot.
