What is going to happen in a few years is that employees will get only major medical insurance, it would cover cancer, broken legs, etc. But if you get a cold or need a pill for poison ivy you would have to pay for it yourself. The reason health insurance is so high is because obese people, and smokers and drug addicted people drain down the insurance companies with their problems and then we all have to pay. Of course there is the sue happy lawyers that run the cost up too.
