well, i don't know about yours, but my electric more than DOUBLED in january. the weak excuse i got was the billing company was changed to a different method(i'll bet so) and it's winter in se texas so the rates are naturally higher. wonder why my electric bill in december of '07 was the LOWEST in several years and now they are the highest in january. just does not make sense. i guess we sheeple got shafted ....again. realy hurts when i'm on a fixed income, but that don't matter anymore.
