I think one thing many people don't take into account is that for every barrel of oil not all of it goes into fuel production, much of it is taken out for other things such as plastics, this includes toys, computers, and more, also tires. I do not know what they mean when they say a barrel of oil. I believe it is in the 45 to 50 gallon range not 55 gallons as we think of a barrel. What irks me the most is when some thing bad happens pertaining to gas and fuel the price is reflected that day or at least the next. When something good happens it isn't reflected until much later when that oil has had time to be converted to fuel then transported to the stations. OOps sorry there was another mishap we can't give you a discount now. Now come on guys you all know that even with the oil companys massive profits in the last couple years they haven't gouged you. If you think so just ask the Gov't they will tell you no they haven't, that should make you feel better.:>)
