well, finally, after refusing to pay for the unrequested $3.11 a gallon LP gas, and sticking to my guns, the local manager calls and tells me they will come and pump out the gas and credit my account, which was $0.00 in my eyes cause I didnt order it. I told him I would just buy it if he would lower price to $2.24- Amerigases price same day, which would have been $.87 a gallon reduction, which would have been a "loss",ya right, of $91.35(105 gallons). He refused saying they will drop the $87 fee to come out and pump it out(Hmm $87 fee drop vs $91.35 profit), but WILL NOT lower the price. I said come get your gas. 2 days later gas truck shows up, Hmm, he cant pump it out, fitting inaccesable on bottem of tank, need to lift the tank, 2 days later ol fella come out with trailer and boom to raise tank so fitting can he accessed, Hmm, cant get to tank because of the snow depth, goes back to office and asks them to just match the price, told nope, drives back out to jack up the tank and block it up, today another gas driver comes out, and sets everything up (lot of hoses and pumps and labor) and pumps out 105 gallon=/-. Now tell me, how is that a way to manage a business, look at the extra cost from NOT just matching the price, not to mention they are losing a customer who is right now switching from electric water heater and cooking to propane, is gonna have a shop to heat after this summer, and will have corn to dry. The employees I spoke with were all very nice professional people, I feel bad for them, as they have nothing to do with managment. I am done with Ferrelgas and look forward to buying my own tanks and doing usiness with any one else.
