They should just make this thread a sticky so we dont have to keep re-hashing this every other day. Everyone seems to believe this auction is a scam and I not knowing a single person involved but reading these posts that if there was a contract with the Aumanns that there is a breach of contract that is taking place and I hope that someone files suit and prevents this auction from taking place so some crooked person takes it in the shorts! I am a firm believer that when you give someone your word you follow through with your commitments and this whole thing just smells of a scam.
I personally dont have have as much problem with a buyers premium as you know that going in so factor that into your price. What I will NEVER pay for at an auction is Parking, Admission and a Catalog! If the auction house doesnt have the faith in the products they are selling to bring a price worthy of their investment in the marketing costs I have no desire to be there.
