A friend used a Gehl last summer in exchange for labour fixing it up for the owner and on that particular machine, the wheel axles have to be greased but to do this it was absolutley necessary to remove the wheels to access the grease zerks. He found out about this because he had to change out 3 of the four axle bearing pairs...failed because of lack of lubricant.
