At our local threshing show an older gentleman asked me to put the mag back on his oliver 80. I'd never worked on an 80 before and didn't know where the timing marks were so I pulled plug # 1 and went from there to find the timing. This guy was only about 5'4" tall and didn't have an ounce of fat on him, and he was about 80 years old. He couldn't have weighed any more than 120 dripping wet. Well, I got the mag on and he wanted to crank it himself, so I told him I didn't know if it was timed right, so BE CAREFUL. He put one foot on the front wheel, grabbed the crank with both hands locked around each other, and when he pulled it started the first time over. Boy was I relieved! I was so afraid it was going to kick and rip his arms off. Whew! Jim
