I have read the responses and some of you should consider a few things. I live in a very safe , quiet low crime area..and that means nothing, kids from other towns invaded our town one night, rifled several cars and my pick up. Criminals do travel!..it isn't locals who commit these crimes..anyway about three weeks later the OPP caught a carload of them driving around in a stolen car about 3AM. They were all from a town 20 mles north of us, and they had been going around rifling vehicles..so living in a safe low crime area doesn't mean a thing..a lot of our rural B andE's around here are comitted by city thiefs and the arrests document that, they drive out into the rural areas and do daylight break ins..so if you don't lock up you will be a victim. I lock my truck all the time but that particular night I had forgot to..truck and glove box rifled..lost about $5 in change..just made a mess..when they were caught they were mostly 16 year olds..with a stolen car that the keys were left in......You might want to think about it.
