Unless you know the dealer where it was purchased new and he kept all his purchase orders to way back then (or you have the original purchase order), there's no way to tell. The front ends are all easily interchangeable and even if it left the factory with, say a wide front on it, there's nothing that says a branch house or dealer along the way changed it to, say a narrow front before it was even sold as a new machine!
