I agree with the rest of y'all that fuel prices are just too darn high and something needs to be done. However, many of the small truckers cannot afford to go on strike while supporting a family. As far as finding a different career, its tough as well. Here in Central Nebraska, 3 major companies within a 75 mile radius of eachother have laid off over 450 workers in the last two weeks.
