Also it depened's on the make of the plow if it has high speed bottoms or low sped bottoms and the tractor being able to pull it at the correct speed. also cover boards help flip it . When i firs started out my first plow was a high speed bottom and i could not pull it fast enough . The plow i bought looked like my buddys same plow same number of bottoms just did not plow the same . Took a long time to figure out why . Did not matter what tractor pulled them if you could not haul them at 5+ mph then they did not lay the soil over and our old 450 D's would not make 5 MPH . Put that same plow behind a 806 stuff it 1st. high and it would plow so nice ya did not have to disc.
