We could only get Valvoline or Gulf Sapphire oil in the town where I came up near. You are right it's the frequency more than brand I think. I got a F350 diesel 7.3 and its got 290,000 on it with Mobil Delvac 15-40. It uses about 1&1/2 qts on a change at 4,000 miles.
