I have a tiller manual but none for the tractor. As you mentioned the JD parts online is great for individual parts but nothing on how they connect together. I was thinking of connecting a spring from the main lift arm bracket to a fixed point on the frame. this would make all impliments easier to lift but not allow the tiller to "float" on the ground. Its weight provides much needed downforce while tilling. Has anybody tried this? thanks in advance.
