Rebuilt my 1100 back in '04 cost $1300 for the complete kit from Perkins. also bought a connecting rod and some lifters a few hoses for $300, $500 for machine shop work this included all the head work and had to bore out the old sleeves in the block and line bored the connecting rod bearings and cam bearings. also spent about $400 on tools.
