Years ago I bought a 1960 Plymouth with low mileage on it. It had been sitting in a garage for a spell after the death of it's owner. It had used non-detergent oil, apparently, because after we changed oil (we put in detergent) it went about 1000 miles and everything was plugged up. The lifters quit, oil pressure was way down, it barely ran. We tore it down and found sludge everywhere. We had to hot-tank everything and rebuild from there. To TOM S: It's spelled Kubota. Apparently your life has been lacking the pleasure that a really fine running machine gives.
