Raymond Loewy it is.The father of American industrial design.We have all probably held his coke bottle.Also redid the Lucky Strike pack.The list goes on,Nabisco logo,Shell, Exxon.He was born in the 1800s[1893?] and lived until 1986.He still designed in the seventies.I thought he was interesting and found a good website on him.He was frustrated by the fact that Detroit did not hire him more.He loved fast cars.Quite a guy.[He called Harley Earl designs "chrome barges"] Also wrote INDUSTRIAL DESIGN.Had a swimming pool in the living room of his California home.
