Back in the 80s I drove a flatbed 18 wheeler. I made a delivery to Newark Airport. When I got there a gentleman gave me directions to the docks. I made a wrong turn and ended up in National Car rental. After telling me where I went wrong, I exited where a bus had entered. There was a barrier in the road surface that folded down upon entering. It did not work that way exiting. When it was all said and done I had 11 flat tires. 5 on the tractor and 6 on the trailer. The local tire guy had a very good day. That was a tough call to make to the truck's owner.
